On Sunday 2 August, we set sail from Monnickendam, which has now become a familiar place to us. Harbour Master Herrieman gives us a final nudge out of the harbour, and the ship’s horns sound from the boats of our fellow ‘long-term’ residents in the harbour.
So, the first milestone has been reached – we’re off!
